Kejriwal’s Pilgrimage Trains to Start from December 3

The first train to Ayodhya under the Delhi government’s free pilgrimage plan will leave on December 3, according to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. He also stated that the Velankanni Church in Tamil Nadu, which is a major Catholic pilgrimage site, will be added to the scheme’s list of pilgrimage sites. “I got a sense when I left. At a digital news conference, Kejriwal remarked, “I prayed for the power and competence to allow everyone to visit Ayodhya.”

“Ayodhya has been added to the list. Any older citizen in Delhi can take advantage of this initiative and have one young person accompany them at all times. I’m delighted to inform you that the first train from Delhi to Ayodhya will depart on December 3. Registration for the event has already commenced on the Delhi government’s e-district portal,” he added.

According to Kejriwal, pilgrims would be transported on air-conditioned trains and will be accommodated in air-conditioned hotels as part of the programme. The government will also cover the cost of food and transportation, and more than 36,000 people have already benefited from the programme.

“Our Christian brethren had a requirement that none of their pilgrim locations be on this list,” he stated, announcing future intentions. I have excellent news for them as well. We’ll add Velankanni Church (Tamil Nadu) to our list shortly because many of them wish to travel there. They will soon be able to visit this pilgrimage site as well.”
