New Delhi: Delhi Assembly Election 2020 results have come out. The Aam Aadmi Party has won with a thumping majority. Arvind Kejriwal will take oath of Chief Minister for the third time on 16 February. Kejriwal will take oath at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan. In Delhi’s 70 assembly seats, AAP has won 62 seats and BJP has won 8 seats. AAP’s vote share was 53.57 percent. BJP won 8 seats and got 38.51 percent votes. Congress account not opened.
Arvind Kejriwal has also called a meeting of the party’s newly elected MLAs at his residence today (12 February). Earlier, it was speculated that the swearing-in ceremony would take place on 14 February. A grand event is planned on 16 February at Ramlila Maidan.
In the Delhi Assembly Elections 2015, the Aam Aadmi Party formed the government by winning 67 seats.
