Kasganj: An accused who killed a soldier by attacking a police team in Sidhpur area of ​​Kasganj district in Uttar Pradesh was killed in an encounter this morning.

Constable Devendra Kumar died in the incident while Sub-Inspector Ashok Pal was injured. He is undergoing treatment at Aligarh Medical. The liquor mafia also took away the government revolvers of the injured sub-inspector.

Police of Sidhpura and the adjoining districts were sent to the spot to apprehend the mafia on the information of the incident. 12 police teams have been deployed to arrest the accused.

Taking the incident seriously, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while directing the imposition of NSA on the accused, has announced financial assistance of Rs 50 lakh to the families of the constable Devendra Kumar and a government job to a family member.
