New Delhi: Jyotiraditya Scindia, who left the Congress last year and joined the BJP, has reacted to the statement of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi in which Rahul called his former friend a ‘backbencher’ in BJP. Jyotiraditya Scindia reacted to that statement of Rahul and said that when I was in Congress, then the situation would have been different. Alas! Rahul Gandhi would have been worried the same way as he is now.
Kamal Nath’s government fell in Madhya Pradesh due to Scindia leaving Congress and joining BJP, and Shivraj Singh Chauhan’s government was formed again.
On Monday, Rahul Gandhi spoke candidly about his old close aide at the meeting of the Youth Wing of the Congress, stating the importance of the party. Rahul reportedly said, “Had he (Scindia) been in the Congress, he would have become the Chief Minister, but he has become a backbencher in the BJP. Scindia had the option to strengthen the organization by working with Congress workers. I was told him – one day you will become the Chief Minister but he has chosen another way. “
