It will be fatal to hide the truth, Yogi govt tell how many tests in which lab: Priyanka Gandhi

Lucknow: All India Congress Committee General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi has given some important suggestions in the context of Corona epidemic to the UP government by tweeting.

In a tweet, General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi has written that in Uttar Pradesh, many people are expressing concerns about testing. Transparency is a big thing in the fight against Corona. All society and government together can defeat this epidemic. In this context, I am sharing some tips here.

She has attached four posters in her tweet. Suggestions have been written to the government on these. She has written that the whole world has recognized that more and more testing is the key to prevention of corona. The Uttar Pradesh government has stopped reporting the number of investigations for two days.

She suggested that there should be complete transparency regarding testing. So that the public gets information and the society and administration can fight unitedly against this epidemic. Hiding the figures and the truth will make the problem fatal. The UP government has to understand this as soon as possible.

She said that how many tests are being done daily in which lab of the state. What is the daily capacity of other testing labs in the state including KGMU? It is very important to keep this data in front of the public.

In the tweet attached, she is written that in Uttar Pradesh pool swabs of several dozen people by the name of pool testing are being collected by the same kit. Health experts have set strict rules for this process. Which may result in loss due to non-compliance.

The government should take all precautions in the use of pool testing and inform the public about it.

The general secretary has tweeted and suggested that it is very important to follow the WHO’s guide line in quarantine centers. Availability of food at these centers, daily check-ups by health workers and cleanliness of the center should be reported.

On completion of the period of quarantine centers, the plan of re-examination even after sending home should be made clear to the public.
