New Delhi: The IPL has been postponed indefinitely by the BCCI in view of the Corona crisis. The BCCI has decided to postpone the IPL for the time being after the news of corona infection in players playing IPL for the last two days. IPL chairman Brijesh Patel gave this information on Tuesday.

After the KKR team, now the players of Hyderabad team have also been hit by Corona. After several players of the Hyderabad team became corona positive, the entire team has now gone into Isolation. Earlier, Varun Chakraborty and Sandeep Warrier of KKR were found to have symptoms of corona. On the other hand, the support staff of Chennai Super Kings also became Corona positive.

On the one hand, the deteriorating situation in the country and on the other hand the IPL event was being questioned for many days. At this time, IPL 2021 was being held at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi. Adjacent to it is the LNJP Hospital where hundreds of patients are stagnating every day due to respiratory infections and the infirmity of hospitals.
