New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, who arrived on a visit to Russia amid strained relations with China, will demand to supply S-400 missile defence system to India soon. According to the agreement, India was supposed to get the S400 missile defence system by December 2021 but due to Covid-19, its delivery is being delayed.
Defencce Minister Rajnath Singh will also ask Russia to deliver the spare parts and other supplies of its existing fighter jets at the earliest. India has already paid a large amount to Russia for the purchase of s-400 missile defence system. In Russia, Rajnath Singh will not meet any political official in China.
This system can destroy aircraft, cruise missiles and even nuclear missiles 400 kilometers in advance. The S-400 is compared to the US Patriot anti-ballistic missile and anti-aircraft missile systems.
China has already purchased this system, although it is not yet known what missiles it has put in it.
