New Delhi: According to the latest data released by the Union Health Ministry on Sunday, 43,071 new Covid-19 cases have been registered in the last 24 hours. During this, 955 patients have lost their lives due to the deadly virus. So far more than 4 lakh people have lost their lives due to Corona in the country.

Active cases in India have come down to 4,85,350, which is 1.59 percent of the total cases. According to the Ministry of Health, 52,299 patients have been cured during the last 24 hours while a total of 2,96,58,078 people have been able to defeat the global epidemic so far. In the last 24 hours, the number of cured patients was more for the 52nd consecutive day than new cases.

According to government data, 63,87,849 doses of the vaccine were given in the last 24 hours, while a total of 35.12 crore doses have been given so far. Testing is also being increased. A total of 41.82 crore corona tests have been done.
