Kolkata: Actor Mithun Chakraborty showed his attitude as soon as he joined BJP, Mithun Chakraborty told the stage of Brigade Ground rally in Kolkata today after joining Bharatiya Janata Party, “I am a number one cobra. You will become a photo. ” He said, “I am proud to be Bengali. I am a complete cobra. If I bite you, you will become a photograph.”

Putting an end to all the speculation, film actor Mithun Chakraborty has finally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. There was already speculation that he would join this rally and take BJP membership.

This rally of PM Modi is taking place at the historic Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata. Mithun Chakraborty was inducted into the BJP even before the Prime Minister arrived. He joined BJP in the presence of state BJP president Dilip Ghosh, party in-charge of the state Kailash Vijayvargiya.

It was like a dream come true, he said, “The Prime Minister of the world’s biggest democracy. And I will share the stage with him. It is a dream come true…”

The 70-year-old actor and former Trinamool Rajya Sabha member has a huge fan-following in Bengal. Lately, he has been seen in popular dance reality shows; in Bollywood, his popularity peaked during his days as a dancer actor in blockbusters like “Disco Dancer”.
