If we did not have made in India vaccine, what would have happened in the country today? PM

New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi has said that our fight against Corona is going on. Many of us have lost our families in this war. In his address to the country on Monday, the PM said that this is the biggest epidemic in the last 100 years. The world had never seen or experienced such an epidemic before. The PM said, imagine that if we did not have a vaccine made in India, what would have happened in this huge country today?

The PM also said that from June 21 (World Yoga Day), the Government of India will provide vaccines to the states for all citizens above the age of 18 years. The central government will buy 75 percent of the vaccine and provide it to the state governments free of cost. In his address, the PM also said that the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana will be carried forward till Diwali. Every poor person will get free food grains in fixed quantity till November.

PM Modi said that 25 percent of the vaccination work which was given to the states, now the entire vaccination will be under the leadership of the Central government. PM Modi announced that the vaccination of 18+ in the country will be free. PM Modi said that vaccination will also continue by paying money in private hospitals, but during this time the surcharge will not exceed Rs 150. PM Modi said that those people who want to get the vaccine after seeing money, they can do so.

PM Modi said that in the last one year, India has launched two made n India vaccines. Now more than 23 crore corona vaccines have been administered. More corona vaccines will also come now. Work on the nasal spray vaccine is underway. If successful in this, then vaccination will be further accelerated. Work is underway on two corona vaccines for children.

During the second wave, the demand for medical oxygen in India increased unimaginably in the months of April and May. Never in the history of India has the need for medical oxygen been felt in such quantity. To meet this need, work was done on a war footing. All the machinery of government engaged. Modi said that the government worked on mission mode.

Showing the mirror to the states, PM Modi said that questions were being raised that why age groups were formed for vaccination, why is the center fixing the age limit. It was also run as a campaign by a section of the country’s media. After this discussion was held and in view of the demand of the states, changes were made in the system which has been running since January 16 this year.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Anna Yojana, PM Modi made another big announcement. It was told that earlier in May and June, free ration was talked about. But now this scheme is being carried forward till Diwali. Modi said that today the government has decided that the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana will now be carried forward till Diwali. In this time of pandemic, with every need of the poor, the government is standing as their partner. That is, by November, free food grains will be available in fixed quantity every month to more than 80 crore countrymen.

In the end, PM Modi said that those who are creating apprehensions about the vaccine, are spreading rumours. They are playing with people. There is a need to be careful with them. Corona curfew is being relaxed in many places. But that does not mean that Corona is gone. We also have to be careful and strictly follow the rules of protection. We will all win in this war. India will win in this war. I believe so.
