Washington: Protests continue throughout the United States following the ruthless assassination of unarmed black citizen George Floyd in Minneapolis, US.
Amid protests in the United States, Trump said violence, plunder, anarchy and disorder would not be tolerated. White House press secretary Callie McNaney told reporters Monday that the president has made it clear that what we are seeing on the streets of America is unacceptable. Referring to the riots and robbery in the demonstrations since the death of black man George Floyd, Trump said it is very simple and clear that these demonstrations are criminal acts and not demonstrations. According to Trump, it is not even an expression but it is a crime that is hurting innocent American citizens.
It is known that the fire of violent demonstrations against the death of black American Floyd at the hands of American police has now reached 140 cities in America. About 17,000 National Guard troops have been deployed in 24 states of the US. He said that a total of 3,50,000 National Guards are available and more steps will be taken for the chaos. Recent demonstrations in the United States are considered to be the worst civil unrest of the past several decades in this country.
It is notable that after Trump’s statement, Houston Police Chief Art Aquedo advised him to keep his mouth shut. The police chief of Hurster has said that on behalf of the Chief of Police of the country, I would just like to tell the President of America that if you have nothing to say, please keep your mouth shut. Earlier on June 1, in a conference call with the Governor of the States, Donald Trump advised him to exert his dominance over the protesters. He said that if you do not establish your dominance, then you are wasting your time.
