New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh government has instructed all district magistrates and the police administration that wherever the agitation is being held in the state, it should be stopped with immediate effect. Now after this, the Ghaziabad District Magistrate has directed to vacate the movement that has been going on for the last 2 months on the Delhi-UP Ghazipur border in protest against the three laws related to new agriculture. Section 144 has been imposed on the picket site. Also, a large number of police forces have been deployed.
An ultimatum has been given to the farmers about this and it has been said that the dharna site should be emptied by tonight. The officials are currently working on a plan on how to evacuate the place.
A heavy police force has been deployed along the border in Delhi Ghazipur. While the administration has given an ultimatum to the farmers to end the agitation, on the other hand, now the farmer leader Rakesh Tikait has refused to end the agitation directly. Apart from this, he has said that he will not talk tonight but instead he will talk to the administration tomorrow on this whole issue.
