In the last two days, Delhi has reported above 25,000 COVID-19 infections on a daily basis. On Wednesday, the city recorded 27,561 new cases and on Thursday, the number of new cases had come up to 28,000 cases as per the data released by the daily health bulletins on the basis of the government’s information.
On Wednesday, the health minister was of the opinion that the number of hospitalizations caused due to coronavirus in Delhi has become stable, which means that the daily case count is presumably going to drop over the coming days. Jain said that if the COVID-19 cases begin to lower down then the government of Delhi would think about reducing the limitations that are in place to curb the spread of the virus.
Jain also said that although the number of deaths due to COVID-19 is more in the state, the cause of the same has to be noted that they were people who were not vaccinated against the coronavirus disease.
It is a kind request for people to get their two doses of vaccination against the coronavirus disease. It is vital that we are protected with the vaccine doses rather than being sorry forever.
