Govt should understand the pain of Indian workers trapped abroad: Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: Today the Ministry of Home Affairs has released new guidelines regarding lockdown. Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has given his response by tweeting. He tweeted that in such a difficult time we should think about the thousands of Indian labourers who are desperate to meet their families. The Corona virus crisis and nationwide lockdown have left a large number of labourers isolated. The government should think about the interests of our brothers and sisters and arrange for flights so that they can reach home.

Earlier Rahul Gandhi suggested that barring the Corona virus hotspot, business should be allowed to reopen in other areas. He had said that crores of farmers, labourers and businessmen are facing problems by implementing the same type of lockdown across the country. Rahul Gandhi also said in his tweet that farmers, labourers and traders should not be viewed on the same scale. He tweeted, farmers, labourers, daily labourers, traders all cannot be seen on one scale. Complete lockdown has become a disaster for many classes. The country needs a smart solution. Tests on a large scale, identification and encirclement of virus hotspots, and cautiously elsewhere should begin slowly.
