Governor Anandiben Patel Praises Modi Govt at Convocation Ceremony of Chaudhary Charan Singh University

Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, who reached the convocation ceremony organized at Chaudhary Charan Singh University in Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh, praised the Modi government and said that 40 lakh farmers have benefited from the Saryu state project. She said that 40 years ago when this plan was made, its cost was 100 crores but to complete this project a cost of 10 thousand crores has been incurred. The Governor said that if the scheme had been started at the time it was prepared, lakhs of farmers would have benefited and floods could have been prevented.

Governor Anandiben Patel said that so much money is not spent on the work done on time and now many public welfare works could have been done with the increased amount. The Governor said that in future the work will be completed on time so that its cost does not increase. She said that today Meerut is developing in the sports world, Meerut is very ahead in the production of sugar. The picture of Meerut has changed with the construction of Delhi Expressway. Delhi-Meerut connectivity will be of great benefit from the Rapid Rail Project. If Modi ji came, all this work could be done, but many people came, did not know what they did or did not do.

Concern expressed over the low number of boys among medal takers

In her address, Governor Anandiben Patel said that women power is progressing but parents should also pay attention to the students. There should be competition among the students to get medals but the students were far behind in getting medals. Students must be thinking that they will go into politics. The governor said that this should not happen, study and move forward.
