New Delhi: Farmers in many parts of the country on Saturday carried out a chakka jam against agricultural laws. Except UP and Uttarakhand, this roundabout jam was called from 12 noon to 3 pm in the rest of the states of the country. No farmers came towards Delhi during Chakka Jam. However, special security arrangements were made in Delhi as well. Meanwhile, farmer leader Rakesh Tikait said that we have given the government till October 2 to repeal the laws. After this we will do further planning. We will not negotiate with the government under pressure.
Rakesh Tikait said that if the government does not withdraw the agricultural laws and does not make laws on the MSP, the agitation will continue. We will travel across the country and there will be agitation all over the country. He once again said that only after the return of all the three laws, we will go to our house.
The entry and exit gates of Delhi metro stations have opened after the end of Chakka Jam. Normal service has resumed. At the same time, police detained around 50 people who were protesting at Shaheedi Park in Delhi in support of Chakka Jam.
