Farooq Abdullah’s message to PM Modi, be honest

New Delhi: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah said in an interview to a channel on Friday (August 21) that this is not Mahatma Gandhi’s India. This is Farooq Abdullah’s first interview after Farooq Abdullah was detained by the Central Government after the abolition of most of the provisions of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir.

Farooq Abdullah said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had not given any indication regarding the withdrawal of special state status of Jammu and Kashmir. Farooq Abdullah was released in March 2020. Farooq Abdullah said, no one can trust the government of India now. There is not even a day when they do not lie. Farooq Abdullah said, it was an unexpected move. He said, I had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi just a day ago but he had not given any such indication.

Farooq Abdullah further said, When I asked PM Modi about all these things, he did not give any answer on all these things but told about all other things. On what he would like to say to the Prime Minister, Farooq Abdullah said, “My message to the Prime Minister is to be honest.” Also they really should face the facts.
