Farmers allowed to enter Delhi

New Delhi: After talking to farmer leaders, Delhi Police has allowed the farmers to enter the capital. The farmers will be able to protest peacefully in the Nirankari Samagam Maidan of Burari. PRO Ish Singhal in Delhi Police says that we have appealed to the farmers to maintain peace so that others are not inconvenienced.

Let us know that about 500 different organizations of the country have formed a joint front, under the leadership of which farmers of Punjab and Haryana are traveling to Delhi on 26 and 27 November. All sections of the All-India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee, Rashtriya Kisan Mahasangh and Bhartiya Kisan Union have called for ‘Delhi Chalo’ to pressurize the Center to withdraw the recent three agricultural laws.

The farmers, who are continuously protesting against the new agricultural laws, are not ready to back down. Protesting farmers have gathered on the Singhu border (Haryana-Delhi border) and are trying to move towards Delhi. A heavy security force is deployed at the Singhu border to stop them. Tear gas has been used to stop farmers.

To prevent farmers from entering Delhi on the Tikari border near the Delhi-Bahadurgarh highway, a truck planted as a barricade was removed from the tractor by the farmers. Security forces also used water canons and tear gas bullets to disperse the protesting farmers on the border. There have been clashes between security forces and farmers as well. There is traffic jam on Yamuna Expressway in UP’s Mathura. The farmers have also blocked the road there. Police personnel are also deployed on the spot.
