Jabalpur: National spokesperson of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, Rakesh Tikait, today attacked the central government over the agricultural laws, saying that the conspiracy hatched to destroy the farmers under the guise of these laws, will not let them succeed. He said that farmers are not going to give their land to any corporate houses. This movement will last until the agricultural law is returned.
Tikait was addressing farmers mahapanchayat at Krishi Upaj Mandi situated in Sihora tehsil of Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. He said that the farmer loves the land more than the children. The farmer cannot name his land in the name of children when he is alive.
He said that the movement has been going on in Delhi for 100 days and the government is not agreeing. He said that if a second revolution of independence is needed against these laws, then we are ready.
Before the Mahapanchayat, Tikait told the media that we cannot stop the cheap politics of tearing the banner. The situation of the farmers in Madhya Pradesh is not good, the farmers here are being misled and not allowed to join the movement. The young man has also woken up with the farmer. All this is not going to last long. He is well aware that agricultural law is harmful.
