News Desk – Meerut after being deadly affected by coronavirus is now being affected by pollution. Meerut is now the second most polluted city in India due to which people’s lungs are being affected. Lungs now being affected by pollution are now failing to fight corona virus due to which people are losing their lives.

Meerut is now at 2nd number in terms of air pollution with a pollution measure of 339 AQI. Panipat is at no.1 with an AQI measure of 350 and Lucknow stand at no.3 with 328 AQI. Methods at stopping to stop pollution in Meerut are failing as the condition get worse.

People conditions are getting worse and worse as the pollution levels rises. Small particles of pollution reaches the lungs breathe and weaken our immunity. With the weakening of our immunity we become more and more prone to Diseases like coronavirus.

Whereas increasing cases of coronavirus are also showing the same signs of weakening of lungs. According to reports, 60 percent of people affected with Coronavirus already had weakened lungs.

This means people with weakened lungs are being more affected with coronavirus. Most of the people who died due to coronavirus, died due to infection in the lungs. In fact corona virus attacks the lungs first in the case of an infection. It gets harder to breathe as soon as the infection starts.

Oxygen levels also start to decline. If the lungs of the person if is weak then Coronavirus can be deadly. In the deaths due to corona infection, 60 percent of the patients had spread of lung infection which proved fatal for them.
