Barabanki: An 82-year-old man has died in distt Barabanki Uttar Pradesh in the home quarantine . The elder returned from Gujarat last month, after which he was home quarantined on 22 March. The death of an elderly person was reported on Friday (April 10) in village Badanapur of Mohammadpur Khala area.
According to the report, on Friday (April 10) when the villagers got a strong odor, the administration was informed. The elder had died when the administration came. According to the report, there were insects in the body of the elderly. The smell was so much that it was difficult for people to stand there. Considering the condition of the dead body, it was being speculated that the person must have died a few days ago. The elder went to Baroda to attend his grandson’s Mundan ceremony.
The elder returned from Gujarat with his son last month. After which the administration asked the duo to remain at home quarantine. But the elder’s son was staying in a nearby government school with quarantine facilities. The deceased elder lived alone at home and was often seen by the locals.
The villagers have said that ever since the administration had quarantined home, people did not go there due to fear. Sometimes they used to see them while taking ration etc.
A local ASHA worker said, “I went to meet the elderly man on March 22 and asked him to be a self-quarantine.” Asha worker told that after March 22, she came to paste the notice on the door of the house on April 4. During this time he did not get any clue about anything untoward.
