The Pune-based SII company executive director said on Friday that the government started vaccinating people of different age groups without assessing the WHO guidelines and the stock of vaccines they hold. In an health-related e-summit organized by Heal Health, Suresh Jadhav of Serum alleged that the government did not assess how much vaccine is available in India and what the World Health Organization guidelines are about it, many age groups people approved of vaccination. He said that the country should follow the WHO guidelines and accordingly vaccination should be done on priority basis.
