New Delhi: Taking a big action, the Enforcement Directorate has attached properties worth crores of Satyendra Jain’s family and Sanjay Raut’s wife. Both the cases are different in which the ED has taken action. One of these cases is related to the wife of Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut, while the other is related to the family of AAP leader Satyendar Jain.

The first case is related to ‘Patra Chawl’ land scam. In this, ED has attached property worth 11 crores. Out of this, property worth 9 crores belongs to Praveen Raut. While the said 2 crore property belongs to Sena leader Sanjay Raut’s wife. The Enforcement Directorate attached the assets of Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut’s wife in the Rs 1,034-crore Patra Chawl land scam. It has been told that this includes plot in Alibaug and flat in Dadar.
Sanjay Raut‘s friend Praveen Raut was also arrested in this case. The ED had filed a chargesheet in this case last week. In the investigation, the ED had found that the path of crime was adopted in the purchase of the property.
The second case is related to the family of AAP leader Satyendar Jain. In this, assets worth Rs 4.81 crore have been attached. This case is related to money laundering. It has been told that Jain’s family members were associated with some such firm which is under investigation under PMLA.
Those whose properties have been attached in this case include Akinchan Developers Pvt Ltd, Indo Metal impex Pvt Ltd etc. A case is registered against them under PMLA.

Sanjay Raut said – Satyameev Jayate
Sanjay Raut has also tweeted on the action of ED. He wrote, ‘Asatyamev Jayate!!’ At the same time, the statement of BJP leader Kirit Somaiya has also come on this. He said that Sanjay Raut had told the ED that he had returned a check of Rs 55 lakh to Praveen Raut. Praveen is in jail now, the question is, was Sanjay Raut his business partner? I had raised the demand of ED to probe the role of Sanjay Raut in this case.
