Donation campaign launch for Ram Temple, President Kovind donates 5 lakh 100 rupees

New Delhi: The campaign to collect donations for the construction of Sri Ram Mandir has started from today. The campaign was launched by President Ram Nath Kovind. President Kovind donates Rs 5 lakh 100 for construction of Ram Mandir. The Trust’s treasurer Govind Dev Giri, VHP executive Alok Kumar, Ram Mandir Nirman Samiti chief Nripendra Mishra and union (RSS) province federation Shri Kulbhushan Ahuja met President Ram Nath Kovind at 11 am this morning.

In the meantime, President Kovind made a donation of Rs 5 lakh 100 for temple construction. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) campaign will continue for 44 days in two phases. The first phase will continue from 15th to 31st January, in which VHP will seek donations from eminent people of the country for temple construction. The second phase will commence from 1st February and end on 27th February, seeking donations from the general public of the country.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has donated Rs 11 lakh, Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena has donated Rs 1 crore and Sant Morari Bapu has donated Rs 11 crore to build the temple.

Former Union Minister Sadhvi Uma Bharti, former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, has also donated one lakh rupees in this campaign. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan also donated a check of one lakh rupees.

Under this campaign, more than 12 crore families in more than five lakh villages will be contacted and donations will be sought from them.
