Ayodhya has been decorated like a bride for the Deepotsav 2020 in Ram Nagari Ayodhya. UP Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the Deepotsav program by lighting a lamp. Ram ki Pauri has been illuminated with millions of lamps. A world record has been created by lighting 5.51 lakh lamps on the Saryu coast.

Earlier, CM Yogi Adityanath said in the Deepotsav program that this celebration of 2020 has come at a time when the whole world is fighting a war against Corona. He said that this year is very important for us. India is also fighting a battle with Corona along with the world. He said that on behalf of the people of the state and all the devout devotees, I congratulate Prime Minister Modi that the country and the world are seeing the fulfillment of the five-century resolve through his inspiration, his guidance, his strategy.

CM said that with the inspiration of PM Modi, after five century, the path of construction of the magnificent temple of Lord Shri Ram has been paved. For many generations, everyone had the same desire in mind that if we could see the construction work of Lord Shri Ram’s grand temple with our own eyes, then our birth and life would be blessed. This work has been successful due to Prime Minister Modi ji. He said that we have not only made Rama’s paadi immortal and serene but also expanded it. This year 5.51 lakh lamps are lighting, next year this number is going to reach 7.51 lakh.
