The Congress the oldest political outfit of the country is currently on an innovative path in the most populous state thanks to its self styled innovative incharge of the state and national general secretary of the party Priyanka Vadra. Though the party had miserably failed to catch up with the aspirations of the people for more than last three decades, it is now certainly catching up fast the culture of the BSP with one of its recent decision.
The state Congress president Ajay Kumar Lallu has issued a circular recently asking those aspiring for party tickets for ensuing assebly elections to deposit Rs 11000 with while applying for the same. Its no secret that the UPCC chief had issued this circular on the directives of the party incharge Priyanka Vadra.

The veterans of the party are perturbed over the move as they contend that after dedicating their life to the party and standing by it in troubled days. ”Now we have to give fees for seeking party nomination for elections” commented a leader. ” I had been seeking party ticket in past but under this new set of rules I will not opt for this time” he added.
It is widely believed that party seems more eager to strenthen itself economically rather than electorally. “Are we copying BSP by sticking to this new discourse” asked a former legislator.

However the party is justifying its new directive as the media incharge of the UPCC Lalan Kumar said that with the changing and demanding time the party has decided to seek contribution from ticket seekers and the entire process is transparent and the concerned amount will be deposited in party fund and not meant for any individual.
