New Delhi: Nearly a week after the violent clash between Indian soldiers in East Ladakh, the Chinese army has admitted that their commanding officer was killed in the meantime. According to news received from NDTV sources, this thing was accepted by the Chinese Army during military-level talks between the two countries.
Significantly, 20 military personnel, including a colonel of the Indian Army, were killed in a violent clash with Chinese soldiers on Monday night in the Galvan Valley of eastern Ladakh. About 45 soldiers of the Chinese side were killed or badly injured in the clash. However, China did not give any information about the number of soldiers killed or injured after the violent conflict.
According to the information, a violent clash in Ladakh started when Indian soldiers went to remove the tents planted by Chinese soldiers on the Indian side of the border. On June 6, China agreed to remove the tent after talks between lieutenant general-rank officials of both sides. Sources said a physical struggle erupted after Chinese troops targeted Indian Colonel BL Santosh Babu and the two poles, stones and rods were fiercely used between the two sides.
