
According to the complaint, Kaashif Khan, the director of SFL Fitness, approached him in 2014 and convinced him to invest Rs 1 crore in the company in order to earn a profit, along with Shetty, Kundra, and others. According to the Bandra police, Kaashif Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra, and others reportedly urged Yash Nitin Barai (25) to put money in a fitness franchisee they intended to create on his property in Indraprasth, Hadpasar in Pune, and promised him a portion of the earnings.

Because Yash was a child at the time, his father donated Khan 1.51 crores over three months in 2014. The complainant was reportedly intimidated later when he requested his money back, according to the police source, who cited the complaint. According to him, the Bandra police lodged the FIR based on the allegation under different sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 420 (cheating), 120-B (criminal conspiracy), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 34 (common purpose).

This is the second case against Raj Kundra, who was sentenced to prison earlier this year for his role in a pornography ring. Currently, he is free on bond. Raj was granted bail in the aforementioned case by a Mumbai court on the condition that he post a Rs 50,000 guarantee. In connection with the pornographic case against Raj, the Mumbai Crime Branch’s Property Cell filed a 1500-page supplemental charge sheet with the Esplanade Court.
