It states that the state and union territories must strictly implement the rules in the containment zone. At the same time, persons over 65 years of age and children below 10 years have been advised to stay at home. These guidelines will be effective from December 1 to December 31.

The home ministry said states and union territories could impose local restrictions such as the night curfew to prevent corona, but they would have to consult the center if a lockdown was imposed outside the containment zone.
