Center imposed ban on Kejriwal government’s ‘doorstep delivery of ration’ scheme

New Delhi: Dispute with the Central Government over another scheme of Delhi Government is seen. Actually, the central government has banned the Delhi government’s scheme ‘Doorstep delivery of ration’. The scheme was to be started by the Delhi government under the name of ‘Mukhyamantri Ghar-Ghar Ration Yojana’, but the Center has objected to this scheme.

The Central Government has written a letter to the Food Supply Secretary of the Delhi Government, asking that the scheme should not be started. The Center has cited the Food Security Act behind it. According to the central government, ‘Under the Food Security Act, the central government gives ration, so the Delhi government should not change this scheme.’

Let us know that the Kejriwal government of Delhi had also given a tender for this scheme and it was to be launched from 25 March.
