New Delhi: Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cabinet expansion, 12 ministers have resigned, including veteran ministers Ravi Shankar Prasad and Prakash Javadekar. The President has accepted this resignation on the recommendation of the Prime Minister. It is worth mentioning that Ravi Shankar Prasad was handling the responsibility of the Ministry of Law, Electronics and IT in the Union Cabinet.
Earlier, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Labor Minister Santosh Gangwar, Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan and many ministers have been discharged from the cabinet.
According to sources, apart from this, the resignation of Minister of State for Women and Child Development Debashree Choudhary has been sought. Meanwhile, Fertilizers and Chemicals Minister Sadananda Gowda has been discharged from the cabinet. The resignation of Sanjay Dhotre has also been taken. Union Social Justice Minister Thaawarchand Gehlot resigned on Tuesday itself.
Significantly, there is a big change in the Union Cabinet this evening, before that political stir is going on in the capital Delhi. Some old names are being given farewell before new names are added to the cabinet.
