New Delhi: Before the cabinet expansion, the Congress has taken a jibe at the news of the removal and promotion of ministers on the basis of performance. Congress spokesperson Randeep Surjewala said that if performance is the only measure, then the Prime Minister should also move away. He said that the cabinet expansion is just a ‘defector adjustment exercise’. Surjewala said that the Prime Minister has thrown the peace and tranquility of the country in the garbage.
Surjewala said, if performance is the measure, then the Defense Minister should first move away, because China has occupied our land under him. He further took a jibe at Amit Shah and said that the Home Minister should also step away, because cases like mob lynching and custodial death have become common during his time.
Surjewala said that Dharmendra Pradhan, who has failed to control oil prices, should step down. For the mismanagement of the economy, the Finance Minister should step away.
