New Delhi: For the first time in the second term of the Modi government, there is going to be a big change in the Union Cabinet. According to the information, a total of 43 ministers will take oath in the swearing-in to be held at 6 pm. These will include both new and old ministers.

The inclusion of Jyotiraditya Scindia, Sarbananda Sonowal, Narayan Rane, Varun Gandhi and Meenakshi Lekhi in the government is almost certain. These are among the 17 people who reached the Prime Minister’s residence on Wednesday before the expansion of the cabinet.

In this reshuffle, many ministers are likely to get promotions and some may also get leave. Ministers of State Anurag Thakur, Purushottam Rupala and G.K. Reddy also met the Prime Minister, and he is likely to be promoted.

According to political analysts, five important changes can be seen in this reshuffle of the Modi cabinet. The speculations that are being made in the corridors of power regarding the reshuffle include promotion of many ministers of state due to performing well and regional equations, while leave of many ministers who performed poorly and new faces were given breast, re-entry of allies and The burden of the portfolios of many ministers is to be reduced.

According to sources, there is a possibility that several ministers may be promoted. It is being told that the names of Energy Minister RK Singh, Minister of State for Fertilizers Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of State for Environment Babul Supriyo, Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh are in discussion. On the basis of regional and caste equations, some more ministers of state are also expected to be promoted.

According to sources, many ministers doing bad work can be removed. In the last review meetings, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has said that tough decisions have to be taken. Whose clear message is that ministers doing bad work cannot be continued any further. Many cabinet ministers have two or more ministries. The portfolios of such ministers can be reduced. There are nine ministers who are performing the responsibility of more than one department.

According to sources, the fourth significant change in the reshuffle will be in the form of new faces. Many new faces from the party will be given a place in the cabinet due to state elections or other reasons. The fifth important change that will happen is going to be the re-entry of the allies in the cabinet. In this, JDU, Apna Dal, LJP and some other small parties can get entry.
