New Delhi: 33% reservation for women in government jobs, complete ban on infiltration, free education for girls from KG to PG, food plate for 5 rupees and the promise of implementing CAA in view of assembly elections in West Bengal. BJP released its manifesto on Sunday in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Giving the manifesto the name of the Sankalp Patr, Amit Shah said that BJP governments follow the Sankalp Patr. Its basic premise is the concept of ‘Sonar Bangla’. He said that in all jobs of the state government, 33% reservation will be provided to women. Taking forward the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, he will work to get 75 lakh farmers who did not receive the Rs 18,000 per farmer by Mamta Didi, to their bank. Every year the farmers get Rs 6000 from the Government of India, adding Rs 4000 to the State Government, a total of Rs 10,000 will be given to the farmers every year.
Amit Shah said that to free Bengal from corruption, it will launch an anti-corruption help line under the CMO, so that any citizen will be able to complaint directly to the Chief Minister. To create 3 new AIIMS in North Bengal, Junglemahal and Sundarbans region. The BJP government will provide assistance of Rs 6000 per year to fishermen.
The Home Minister said that we have decided that the Citizenship Amendment Act will be implemented in the Cabinet only for the first time. Under the Chief Minister’s Refugee Scheme, each refugee family will be given Rs 10,000 from DBT per year for five years. Already in the cabinet, every poor of Bengal should get the benefit of Ayushman Bharat Yojana, we will work for it.
He said that the main idea of the manifesto is to build Sonar Bangla. For centuries Bengal led the country on many fronts – spiritual, science, politics, social reform, education or art, Bengal used to be ahead in every field. There are not only announcements in the Sankalp Patr, but this resolution is that of the largest party in the world, this is the resolution of the party whose government has formed twice with absolute majority.
