Terrorists shot and killed a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader in the Brazloo-Jagir region of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district. Javeed Ahmad Dar has been named as the suspect. He has been the BJP’s Homshalibugh seat in charge for the past three years.
According to accounts, the BJP politician was shot at point-blank range outside his residence, killing him instantly. Meanwhile, Manzoor Ahmad, the Kashmir BJP’s media cell chairman, has denounced the attack. ” The BJP strongly condemns the killing of terrorists in Kulgam of the President of Homshalibugh, Javeed Ahmad Dar,” he said.

This is the second time in August that terrorists have killed a BJP official in Kashmir. According to reports, a squad of police officers has arrived on the scene, and the area has been sealed off in order to apprehend the terrorists.
The Kulgam BJP Kisan Morcha and the sarpanch Ghulam Rasool Dar and his wife Jawhira Banoo were shot and murdered at Lal Chowkin Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag last week by two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists.
The BJP’s general secretary, Tarun Chugh, denounced the death, calling it “cowardly conduct.” “Pakistan’s ISI-backed terrorists were feeling desperate and have been targeting BJP leaders to destroy the democratic process in the Union Territory,”
