Lucknow: In Bijnor, five people died while four others are said to be critical in a blast at a cracker factory operating among the people. Police and district administration officials are engaged in relief work on the spot.

A massive explosion occurred in a house in Jandwala village of Kotwali area of Bijnor district during the day on Thursday. Illegal house cracker manufacturing was going on here. The blast was so severe that the house collapsed completely while the bodies of five workers were recovered. Four seriously injured persons have been admitted to the district hospital. The search for the bodies is underway from under the debris of the house. The fire brigade as well as the district administration team are also on the spot. With this, senior officials of the district have reached the spot. It is reported that explosive material was being made in the house. The entire house has been destroyed in the blast.

The house where the blast took place is said to have been rented by a man named Joseph. He was preparing crackers with nine laborers here. The lock was reportedly locked from outside the house. The gunpowder suddenly caught fire in the afternoon. It caused a huge explosion. Five laborers lost their lives on the spot. The other four working there are injured. These people somehow escaped and saved their lives.

Bijnor Five people lost their lives in the explosion in the firecracker factory running among the population while the condition of four remains critical. Police and district administration officials are present on the occasion, relief work is going on fast.

On Thursday, a house exploded in a house in Jadowala village in Kotwali area of ​​Bijnor district. There was illegal construction of firecrackers in the house here. The explosion was so severe that the house was completely destroyed there, while the bodies of five laborers have been found by chance. Four seriously injured people have been admitted to the district hospital.

The work of searching the dead bodies is going on under the garbage. Along with the fire brigade, the district administration team is also on the spot. With this, the top officers of the district have reached the spot. It has been reported that explosive material was being made in the house. The entire house has been destroyed in the blast.

Chief Minister expressed grief
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has mourned the deaths of the people in the incident. He has expressed his condolences to the bereaved families of the dead. The Chief Minister has instructed the officers of the district administration to reach the spot immediately. He said that all possible relief should be provided to the people affected by the incident. Directing the investigation into the causes of the incident, he said that the District Magistrate and the Superintendent of Police should provide a joint report in this regard.
