Champaran: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar (CM Nitish Kumar) has played a big bet in view of the Bihar Assembly Election and supported population-based reservation for castes. Addressing a gathering in Valmikinagar, he said on Thursday that it can be implemented after census data is available. He said that as far as the number is concerned, there will be a census, then a decision will be taken about it. This decision is not in our hands.
However, Nitish Kumar did not say that if he is talking about caste-based census data, he has often demanded that data be brought in the 2021 census. He has said on several occasions earlier that all castes should get reservation in proportion to their population.
CM Nitish also said that as far as population is concerned, it is decided only after census and this decision (on census) is not in our hands. However, we would like reservation to be proportional to the population of castes. We have no two opinions on this. CM Nitish attacked the RJD with his record on law and order and tightened the promise of 10 lakh jobs by Tejashwi Yadav. He repeatedly told the people that his government has worked for the development of Bihar in collaboration with the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On the talk of 10 lakh jobs in the first cabinet of Tejashwi Yadav, Nitish Kumar said that I say that one crore students have passed 10 + 2 exam (intermediate exam) in the last 10 years, why not all of them are given jobs is? Will funding for these jobs come from the sky?
Nitish Kumar claimed that when the RJD was in power for 15 years, it gave jobs to only 95,000 people, while during its 15-rule, six lakh people got jobs and other job opportunities were also available.
