Kolkata: After losing the elections in West Bengal, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has suffered a major setback. Big BJP leader anad party’s national vice-president Mukul Roy has returned to the Trinamool Congress (TMC) along with his son Shubhranshu. He has joined TMC in the presence of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, MP Abhishek Banerjee.
In this regard, Mamata Banerjee held a press conference. Mamata said that there is a lot of exploitation in BJP. It is difficult for people to live there. BJP is not a party of common people. Mamata said that Mukul is the boy of the house. He has returned. I have no differences with Mukul. CM Mamata said that those who have betrayed the TMC, will not take them in the party. Others can come to the party. During this, Mukul Roy said that I have left BJP and have come to TMC, in that situation in Bengal, no one will remain in BJP.
Let us tell you that after the big victory of Mamata Banerjee in the assembly elections, many old allies want to return to TMC. In this, the name of Mukul Roy was at the top. According to sources, Mukul Roy has offered to resign from the Krishnanagar North seat. He is an MLA from here. Mukul Roy’s son Shubhransu Roy can contest from here on TMC ticket.

Sources say that in the last one week, Mukul Roy spoke to Mamata Banerjee 4 times over the phone. Before the elections, Mukul wanted to join TMC.
