Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Ayushman Bharat Mission through video conferencing tomorrow, followed by a speech on occasion, according to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). According to the PMO, the Prime Minister unveiled the pilot project of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission from the ramparts of Red Fort on August 15, last year.

The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission is being rolled out across the country at the same time that the National Health Authority is commemorating the third anniversary of the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY). At the event, the Union Health Minister will be present.

The components include a Healthcare Professionals Registry and Healthcare Facilities Registries that will act as a repository for all healthcare providers across both modern and traditional modalities; and a Healthcare Professionals Registry and Healthcare Facilities Registries that will act as a repository for all healthcare providers across both modern and traditional modalities. The goal of this mission is to make the digital health ecosystem more interoperable.
