Ashraf Bhai receives Saxophones for repairing from around the nation
The fluttering fingers on the saxophone take away every problem

Meerut. The romantic sound of the melodies emanating from the saxophone tongue, lips, breath, fingers, and the artist’s scintillating rendition will leave anyone spellbound. But to maintain these tunes, the Ashraf brothers keep practicing day and night. Like an artist, his fingers also keep playing the saxophone. Ashraf Bhai catches any defect in the instrument’s calibration at once and revives the melodious melodies of the saxophone.
In the old part of the city Khair Nagar, Ashraf Ullah Bhai unheard the noises around him and gets lost in recreating the magic of old musical instruments. From three generations Ashraf Bhai’s family has done the work of repairing musical instruments. Like a Doctor, Ashraf Bhai recognizes the problem with any musical instrument just with a touch of a finger. Then begins the magic of his fingers, which makes the saxophone, again capable of producing melodious voice waves.
Ashraf Bhai, a specialist in saxophone repairing, may have turned 67 years old, but when he takes up the saxophone in his hand to repair, his body gets a youthful agility. After repairing any saxophone, Ashraf Bhai’s face fills with joy while playing it.
Ashraf Bhai told that his three generations are doing the work of repairing musical instruments. Ashraf Bhai has 6 children who are ready to take up the mantle after him. Ashraf Bhai says “repairing saxophone is not only my job but my life. I have been repairing saxophone since childhood and from all corners of the country come to me for saxophone repair. Now my kids are taking care of the work but even today I get immense pleasure from repairing the saxophone.”
