Aryan Khan Case: Witness Alleges to Sign on Blank Paper

In the drug-smuggling case involving the Cordelia cruise ship, Prabhakar Sail, a witness claims that NCB agents forced him to sign ten blank sheets of paper at the NCB headquarters. Sail claims he served as a bodyguard for KP Gosavi, a witness in the case who is currently on the run and being hunted for by Mumbai cops. He also claims to have overheard Gosavi mention that NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede will be required to pay Rs 8 crore. Sail stated he now fears for his safety since Gosavi has gone away.

In a five-page affidavit, Sail claims that Gosavi instructed him to report to the NCB headquarters on October 2. Later the evening, a party on board Cordelia Cruises’ Empress ship was scheduled. Sail alleged that Gosavi was with NCB officials at the time. He said Gosavi told him to wait for the ship near Green Gate in the waiting area.

“At around 1:23 p.m., Kiran Gosavi gave me some photos on WhatsApp and urged me to keep an eye out for the individuals in the photos and to notify him if any of the people in the photos are planning to enter the cruise through the green gate.” As a result, I was prepared to wait. I identified one guy from the image on WhatsApp and notified him that he had boarded bus number 2700. “On 4:23, he answered to me that the stated guy, whom I recognised, has been apprehended, and that 13 others have been detained,” Sail writes in the affidavit.

He claims that Gosavi summoned him inside the location, where he spotted Aryan Khan in one of the cabins and Munmun Dhamecha with NCB personnel. When Aryan Khan was escorted to the NCB office, Sail claims that he walked there as well. NCB officials ordered Sail to sign a blank piece of paper, according to Sail, who is one of the NCB’s nine independent witnesses in the case.

“Around 1 a.m., I got a call from K P Gosavi telling me that I needed to sign as a Pancha and summoning me to the NCB office.” When I arrived, Sameer Wankhede told the workers to get my signature and name. NCB’s Salerkar instructed me to sign ten blank sheets of paper.” According to Sail’s affidavit.

It goes on to allege that Gosavi and Dsouza met a woman named Pooja Dadlani and that Gosavi told him to go to Tardeo Signal and collect Rs 50 lakh. “I arrived to the indicated location about 9:45 a.m., when a white car with the number 5102 got out and handed me two bags full of cash, which I carried to Vashi’s house and delivered to Kiran Gosavi.” Shah Rukh Khan’s manager is Pooja Dadlani. Gosavi then instructed him to pass over the money to Sam Dsouza, near the Trident Hotel.

Sail claims that Gosavi has been gone since that day, and he thinks that he, too, will be slain. “Now that K P Gosavi is missing, I am afraid that NCB officials and those involved may kill or abduct me in the same way that K P Gosavi was abducted. Witnesses are frequently slain or taken away in high-profile cases, and I want to tell the truth,” Sail stated. Sameer Wankhede, NCB Zonal Director, stated that he would respond appropriately to the claims.

According to records filed with the court, Prabhakar Sali was named as pancha number 2 in the panchnama conducted by the NCB on October 2. Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, Ishmeet Singh Chadha, Gomit Chopra, and Vikrant Chhokar were among the five people arrested at the international cruise terminal. In this panchnama, Kiran Gosavi is pancha number one.
