Another big shock to common man, LPG prices again increased

New Delhi: Oil companies have given a big blow to the common man on the first day of this month. LPG prices have been increased again today. LPG cylinder price in Delhi has increased by Rs 25 to Rs 819.

With the Corona epidemic, the general public is facing a double whammy of inflation. On one hand, the prices of petrol and diesel are constantly touching the sky, on the other hand, the increase in the prices of LPG has increased the worries of the general public even more. During the last two months, the government has increased LPG gas by Rs 125, while the same petrol-diesel has increased by about Rs 8.

According to IOCL, if we talk about Delhi only, on January 1, 2021, the price of petrol was Rs 83.71 per liter and today it is Rs 91.17 per liter. Similarly, the price of diesel was Rs 73.87 per liter in January and after two months in March it has been Rs 81.47 per liter.

At the same time, the increased prices of LPG cylinders have shaken the budget of the general public. The government has increased its value 6 times in the last 2 months. On January 1, the price of LPG cylinder was Rs 694. It has been increased to Rs 819 per cylinder in March. In these two months, at the rate of Rs 125 per cylinder, inflation is falling on the general public. This price is only for Delhi, in other states, people are paying more for it.
