Washington: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has said that a review of his government’s policies towards North Korea is being considered in the context of implementing new sanctions.
In an interview to NBC, Mr. Blinken mentioned North Korea, saying that this is a major problem that is getting worse over time.
He claimed that former President Donald Trump held three summits with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, but North Korea did not back down from its nuclear and missile program.
Indicating a change in US policy towards North Korea, the US Secretary of State said, “The first thing we are going to do is to review the policies of the government.”
