Aligarh: Poisonous liquor killed 30 people so far, many in critical condition

Aligarh: In Aligarh, UP, the death toll due to drinking toxic liquor has reached thirty, while the condition of a dozen people is still critical, who are being treated in the district hospital. By 3 pm, 28 people had died, while in the morning two more people died.

Two soldiers, including Excise Officer Dheeraj Sharma, Excise Inspector Rajesh Yadav, Inspector Chandra Prakash Yadav, have been suspended on charges of negligence in this case. At the same time, police has arrested five people so far in the case of liquor smuggling racket. The two main accused are still absconding.

This incident of deaths from poisonous liquor is from the village of Karsua in Aligarh. The people of the village say that everyone had bought and drunk liquor from local contracts, after which the chain of deaths started. At the same time, more than a dozen people were admitted to the hospital for treatment in critical condition.

As soon as the first news of death due to urban liquor was received on Friday morning, the team of excise and police reached the spot immediately. After which people in critical condition were admitted to the hospital for treatment. By noon, 15 people had died. After which CM Yogi summoned the officers and gave strict instructions that the NSA should be imposed on the culprits.
