Lucknow: The official Twitter handle of the office of UP CM Adityanath, remained hacked for 29 minutes on Friday-Saturday night. A senior official of the government shared the information that, hackers send 400 to 500 hundred tweets. The whole matter is being investigated by cyber experts. After the final outcomes, the accused will be charged.

After the Twitter handle was restored, a tweet was made, it is informed that the official Twitter handle of the office of UP CM was hacked at 12:30 am on 9th April. One of the senior bureaucrats told that the handle remained hacked for 29 minutes. Around 400 to 500 tweets were made from this account. Due to abnormal activities, the account was suspended too. He told that around 40 lakhs people follow the Twitter account. Hackers replaced the profile photo of the handle with a cartoon.
The case has been registered
Superintendent of police, cybercrime, Triveni Singh, said that a case has been registered in the matter, under the IT Act against unknowns. Cyber experts are trying to get the link from where it was hacked. They will try to know the intentions behind it. Once again cyber security comes into question through this incident.
People are shifting towards the digital mode of transactions. So, if Twitter handles of the prominent personalities and highly secured offices could be hacked, then it could also be a threat to the common man.
