New Delhi: On the issue of 4G internet in Jammu and Kashmir, on Tuesday, the central government has told the Supreme Court that it will be started on a trial basis after August 15 in two districts of the state. The central government told the Supreme Court on Tuesday that the trial of 4G Internet service will be done after August 15 in each district of Jammu and Kashmir division.

The Center told the court that the committee decided to gradually give people access to 4G internet in the state and it will be reviewed after 2 months. The Center told the court that the special committee has decided to provide 4G Internet services on a state trial basis. Areas where the trial will take place are less sensitive.

Explain that on August 5 last year, the internet and phone services were canceled in the state, a day before the repeal of the provisions of Article 370 and Article 35A. However, a few days later, phone lines, then mobile phones and then 2G internet were provided.
