New Delhi: The second phase of the lockdown ends on May 3. At the same time, the number of patients infected with the corona virus in the country is also increasing. Now 1,993 new cases have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. While 73 people have also died during this period. According to the latest figures of the Health Ministry, a total of 35,043 cases have been reported in the country so far. At the same time, the death toll from corona in the country has reached 1,147. However, the number of patients recovering from corona in the country has also risen to 8,889. In the meantime governments can exempt states based on the number of corona infections. For this, the Ministry of Health has divided the individual districts of the states of the country into Red, Orange and Green zones. The ministry has also prepared a new list of districts by April 30 according to the number of corona cases, doubling rates and tests.

After the government announced the second phase of lockdown, the various districts were divided into three zones. Initially, 170 districts were in the Red Zone, while 207 districts were in the Orange Zone. While 359 of the 736 districts were declared completely free of corona and green zones.

Now 130 districts have been included in the Red Zone, 284 Orange Zone and 319 District Green Zone in the new list released by the Ministry of Health.

When the districts were divided into zones based on corona cases, the number of red zones was 170. Whereas now 40 of these districts have been removed and only 130 districts are within this zone. On the other hand, 77 new districts have been included in the Orange Zone. Previously where 207 districts were in the Orange Zone. At the same time, its number has now increased to 284.

The Health Ministry still keeps Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Ahmedabad in the Red Zone. Even in the beginning, all the metros were included in the Red Zone itself.

Corona virus cases have not decreased in most large states. Therefore, 14 districts of Maharashtra, 11 of Delhi, 12 of Tamil Nadu, 19 of Uttar Pradesh, 10 of Bengal, 9 of Gujarat, 9 of Madhya Pradesh, 8 districts of Rajasthan are included in the Red Zone.

At present, the four important states of the country, UP, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan are the most prone to corona virus. Let us know which districts are under which zone in these states.

In view of the increasing prevalence of corona virus infection, the central government has been allocating the districts separately after May 3, i.e. for the next week. The Health Ministry has divided all the districts in the country into three categories – Red Zone, Orange Zone and Green Zone. The new list of districts has been prepared by the Ministry of Health according to the number of cases, doubling rate and testing. According to the Union Health Ministry, the districts where corona virus infection is spreading rapidly and new patients are coming out, that district has been kept in the red zone. At the same time, in the districts where no new case has come up in the last 21 days, it has been kept in the Green Zone. The central government has changed the standards of keeping districts from red zone to green zone. Now instead of 28 days, no district can be kept from red zone to green zone if new case of corona is not come for 21 days.
