Entertainment Desk – Attention! Attention! Attention! Kashmiri girl Sargam Koushal has won the Mrs. World 2022 and brought the crown back to India after 21 years. She bested contestants from 63 countries and won this prestigious title.
For unaware, the actor-model Aditi Govitrikar brought the Mrs. India crown to India in 2001.
Mrs. World 2021 Shaylyn Ford of the US presented the crown to Sargam Koushal at a ceremony held at Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino.
Mrs. Polynesia was named the first runner-up and Mrs. Canada was the second runner-up.
Sargam Koushal makes India proud and after winning the title, she said, We’ve got the crown back after 21-22 years. Love you India, Love you world.
Sargam Koushal is from Jammu & Kashmir but currently lives in Mumbai.
She holds a postgraduate degree in English Literature and worked as a teacher in Vizag.
She was crowned Mrs. India World in June this year, chosen from 51 contestants across the country.
Sargam Koushal married Adi Koushal in 2018, her husband is an Indian Navy Officer.
