Kollywood superstar Suriya will be working on his 40th film produced by Sun Pictures and directed by Pandiraj.
The yet-to-be-titled movie has been currently named as Suriya 40 and would be the first time when Suriya and Pandiraj will be working together.
Sun Pictures made the announcement about the Tamil movie on Twitter.
As per a report, the new film will start filming early next year. Pandiraj has plans to finish the shooting of the film in a single schedule.
The film is said to be a rural action drama and the remaining cast is yet to be finalized.
Suriya will also be seen in two more movies, one is Tamil thriller Vaadivasal and the other is said to be with director Karthik Thangaraj but nothing has been officially announced about the second movie.
Suriya is known for his natural acting abilities and his dashing personality that makes him the most sought-after actor in the southern cinema.
