Raj Kundra, charged in the pornographic content case, filed a bail application claiming that he was being made a “scapegoat” and that the supplementary charge sheet contained no evidence of him being actively involved in the creation of the allegedly questionable content.
The criminal branch, investigating the matter, recently filed a supplementary charge sheet against Kundra and three individuals in connection with the alleged fabrication of pornographic videos and their distribution through several applications.

Kundra stated in his bail application, submitted through attorney Prashant Patil that the prosecution has not produced a single particle of evidence linking the software ‘Hotshots‘ to a criminal offence. According to the investigation agency, the accused used the Hotshots app to post and transmit obscene content.
There is no single allegations against the present applicant that he was actively engaged in any of the video shootings in the entire extra charges sheet according to the bail application. The petition claimed that the decision to distribute their content via the app is up to the individual artists.
According to the request, no preliminary offence against Kundra is disclosed in the body of the complaint. It was also said that in this case Kundra was wrongfully charge. He was not mentioned in the FIR and was dragged by the respondent, according to the statement. According to the report, he is being used as a “scapegoat” for reasons best understood by the investigating authorities.

So far, the inquiry has revealed that Kundra was not engaged in any manner in the creation of the purported “questionable content.” According to the bail application, he is also unconnected to the process of uploading or disseminating the allegedly problematic information. On Monday, the court will hear the bail application.
